I was surprised by the voice Hanamori was casted with initially, maybe because it reminded me of Seika, but I was thinking she was going to use a more feminine voice. But I'm liking how she's voicing Liza, her performance is hilarious.

Honestly I wish all pet abusers get punished in the same way. I volunteer at a pet shelter and you have no idea of the number of abused pets that come through. Those that get shot at, bludgeoned, eyes gouged out with a BB gun...etc. Though I think the worst are those that get abandoned. They literally get so depressed that they don't eat or drink a single thing. The stressed out pets unfortunately get euthanized if no adopter or rescue saves them.

Everyone who has pets, please hug them and show them all the love in the world.

I don't know why I was expecting any kind of moral insight, I was pretty let down that it was a generic rude guy who put a cat in an open box (That didn't somehow run away...), rather than showing someone who was poor and couldn't take care of it...

Lol this was such a good first episode, it was funny and had me smiling. Liza has such great reactions and I can't wait to see her discover all the cute animals earth has to offer. I also like that the two aliens in the spaceship were already feeling the effects of the cuteness a cat cry wields, I wonder how many times Amato replayed it lol.

Mukai has excellent customer service though, the way he dealt with Liza calling herself an alien, employee of the month quality right there.

I was surprised neither Yanagi nor Mukai became afraid of Liza after she shot down a laser on the original owners of the cat, whether they believe it was justified is one thing but she showed undeniable truth she is an alien with otherworldly power.

An alien finding out how cute cats are. Sounds pretty cute. I think this might be one of those anime I’m not going to watch weekly, but I will just randomly watch an episode if I feel like it. It sounds nice and relaxing.

I was surprised that degus were mentioned! To those who don't know, degu is a type of a rodent that looks like a rat with a puff of fur at the end of the tail but has squirrel - like behaviour, close relative of chinchilla . I got a pair of them when I was 11, named them Sila and Splinter and they were such sweethearts! Unfortunately Sila passed away due to illness when he was three and I was really scared for Splilnter since they are very social creatures and I often saw them cuddled up together or Splinter resting his head on Sila's back. Somehow Splinter got attached to me instead and lived five more years and I'll certainly never forget those nice times. He had this big cage and I would often go pick different branches, made those complex branch bridges and ladders, only to see them all chewed up or simply gone a day later. Not kidding, degus will chew the hell out of wood, to the point my friend saw a big part of the wooden cage shelf gone and commented how much they chew and I just laughed and said "hehe this is nothing, there used to be a shelf over there".
